Clouded Leopards are amazing at jumping and amazing at running. Clouded Leopards are getting less and less because people get the clouded leopard. Clouded leopards are good for the jungle.

Special Characteristics Body - Clouded Leopards have cloud-shaped spots, four feet and sharp claws. They hide their sharp claws in their paws. They can climb, slip, fly and fall on the trees. When they go onto another tree they jump so fast. They use their skills and special body to jump and they are amazing! Clouded Leopards are good swimmers. They can run up to 40 k per hour. They are the smallest of the big cats.
Tail - AClouded Leopard has a long tail to help them balance in the trees.
Camouflage - They have fur with patterns. This helps them camouflage. Their spots look like clouds so that's how they got their name.
Teeth - Some of their canine teeth are as long as a child's littlest finger. They are as long as a tigers teeth. Finding Food - Clouded Leopards are good at hunting animals. They are carnivores (meat eaters). They like to eat monkeys, deer, pigs and birds.
Life Cycle Cubs - Babies are called cubs. They grow inside their mother for 3 months. At 10 weeks old cubs can climb trees. At 9-10 months old, young clouded leopards can be leave their mothers and find their own food. Adults - They can grow to 1.10 meters long and up 30 kg. They live between 11 and 17 years.
Why are they endangered? Deforestation - People are cutting down the trees so they don't have a home. Poaching - People are stealing their babies. Hunting - People kill them for their beautiful fur, to make a coat and sell it.
