Our ideas for action Plant Trees - Go to the jungle and plant trees where they are needed, especially fruit trees for food for orangutans.
Tell Others - Tell people, using the different languages we know. Write on paper, ““Don’t catch animals," "Don’t kill animals” and “Leave endangered animals alone,” "Don't have wild animals for pets," and "Don't cut down the trees." Make a play or puppet show to tell people.
Make Signs, Posters or Pictures - Put signs everywhere so the people can read them and know what to do. Put a sign in the Medan Zoo. They will read it.
Use IT - Make a video to share on social media like You Tube. Send messages using handphones. Create a class website to share our learning about endangered Sumatran animals. Share the website through ClassDojo and in Facebook.
Teach others - As people learn more about the amazing jungles and wildlife of Sumatra, more people will want to help protect the jungles and the animals that live in them.
